Purpose: to raise funds for Casa Esperanza para Mujeres y Ninos, a 501c3 organization providing direct services in East New York, Brookyn. All funding and sponsorship from this event will be used towards community based programs including; community outreach events, annual revival, empowerment work-group series, and, college scholarship for a Casa Esperanza client and scholarship for community member's attendance at our 1st annual Women's Health Forum.

Awards and recipients
Dorothy L. Gilbert "Woman of the year" award recognizes a woman of color who has overcome obstacles while remaining true to the values reflective of Dorothy L. Gilbert's; FAITH and FAMILY. The recipient of this award demonstrates leadership not only in her profession but her commitment to community and strengthening her family.
2014 recipient and keynote speaker is Lila Green of Caribbean Lilac.
Community Partner Award
Awarded to an individual or group who has worked with Casa Esperanza para Mujeres y Ninos in activities that directly impact the organizations work with the community of East New York Brooklyn, &/ or our international initiatives.
2014 recipient is Pastor Troy Britt of Deliverance Tabernacle of Praise
Volunteer of the year award
This award is given to an individual that has consistently dedicated their time to assist Casa Esperanza para Mujeres y Nino's with their initiatives; including working at community outreach events, dropping and picking up donated clothing, preparing and serving hot meals, and passing out marketing materials.
